DFWCGI Involved would like to thank everyone that came out in support of our Blood Drive on August 9th. We had an even bigger turn out than expected & able to save even more lives! It was great seeing lots of familiar faces as well as a bunch of new ones in support of such an awesome cause.

According to Carter Blood Center, this event came at a great time, as they were experiencing another blood shortage and desperately need more blood for the DFW area. If you weren’t able to make yesterday’s event and would still like to donate, they are having another blood drive in Trophy Club on 8/11 at 32 Below Ice Cream, 2550 Bobcat Blvd., #112, Trophy Club or you can always go to any local Carter Blood Center.

Here are our total donor numbers yesterday.

• We had 48 donors total come out yesterday!
• 29 Whole blood
• 9 Red blood Cells
• 3 Platelets
• 1 Plasma
