Arc Flash Hazard AnalysisAnalysis & More

Cental United States

The project consists of program managing and performing arc flash analysis for a large portion of about 11,000 AT&T facilities. The territory our team covers includes Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Wisconsin, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Our team developed the program standards and assists AT&T with the administration of the program. The sites range greatly in size and complexity from less than 500 SF to over 1,000,000 SF; the average facility is about 113,000 SF. The number of buses in each facility ranges from 10 to more than 350; the average number of buses in each facility is 83.

The teamwork required to deploy a program of this magnitude is critical, and our team has completed over 275 sites in about three years. The process we have developed has been implemented with exceptional efficiency and is anticipated to improve even further in the new year.

Each project concludes with the application of the flash labels per recommended settings, adjustment to recommended breaker settings, and updated drawings left in a marked tube on site.
