The existing chilled water system, condenser water system, cooling tower, heating hot water system, pneumatic control system, and chilled water air handling units in the building were all well past their life expectancies. DFW Consulting Group was responsible for the design to replace the aging systems and equipment. The water-cooled chillers were replaced with air cooled chillers, the condenser water system was removed, the existing air handlers were replaced with new chilled water air handlers, and the pneumatic control system was replaced with a new DDC control system. The project was phased such that there were no interruptions to Owner’s operations.
