About Esmeralda
Over nearly two decades, Esmeralda has developed a reputation for leading through listening which is evidenced by her outstanding track record of delivering high-quality projects that meet the needs of her clients.
As Mechanical Director, Esmeralda coordinates the day-to-day activities of the mechanical team and is responsible for quality assurance, training of young engineers, and continuous improvement of the mechanical department. She builds long-lasting relationships with clients by being an active listener which enables her to provide designs tailored to the needs of each project. Esmeralda believes in designing feasible systems that consider the wellness of building occupants.
She has designed VRF (variable refrigerant flow) systems, chilled water, heating water, and refrigerant systems for clients from a wide range of industries such as Commercial, Mixed-Use, High Rise Buildings, Hospitality, Higher Education, and Government, including municipal, state, and federal projects. She is also an adept energy modeler with experience consulting for LEED projects.
Esmeralda began her career in El Paso, TX, after successfully being awarded a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2003. She holds registrations in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Arkansas while also maintaining an active NCEES record so she can serve her client’s needs no matter the location. Her experience with Design/Build projects has also honed her skills in collaborating with Contractors and completing projects with the strictest of schedules.
