Empowering people.

Our Culture

At DFWCGI, we take pride in our work—and we take care of our people. By creating a culture that emphasizes inclusion, respect, continuous improvement, integrity and a commitment to excellence, we are able to deliver high-quality MEP engineering solutions to our clients, and provide attractive career opportunities for our people, while making a positive difference in our community.

We Invest in Our People to Empower Their Growth

Our employees are the life of our business, and the reason for our success. We provide competitive compensation and generous benefits to attract the most talented people to our team—but our investment in employees goes much further. We work with every employee to help them purposefully grow their careers, from identifying professional goals, to career road mapping, to on-the-job training. Employees benefit from professional development, dedicated monthly training time, and 1:1 mentoring with senior engineers to achieve their career goals. We also support paid professional memberships, training courses, and cross-training to build skills.

By investing in our employees’ future and supporting their professional growth, we empower our employees to reach their career aspirations and goals. This helps our company and its people be more successful.

Collaborating for Immediate Impact

Just as we listen to our clients, we also listen to our employees, who take an active role in our firm’s success. From day one, our employees will have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with owners, architects, and engineers to make an impact on some of the biggest and most complex projects impacting our communities.

As a firm, we conduct weekly culture meetings to ensure we meet the needs of our team members. We also hold town halls to update employees on business progress, answer questions, and get team input on important decisions. Trust and transparency are key, and we encourage all our employees to ask questions, listen, learn, and collaborate.

Celebrating Life Together

At DFWCGI, we care about the people we work with. That’s why we take time to celebrate important personal and professional moments together—from baby showers and housewarming parties, to career achievements and project conclusions, to group outings. We strive to ensure DFWCGI is a rewarding place to work by providing a relaxed, comfortable environment where employees can enjoy their work and enjoy one another’s company.

Giving Back to Our Community

We care about the communities where we live and work, and we regularly give back through service projects and educational opportunities. From educating students about MEP engineering, to volunteering for local Big Brothers Big Sisters, to supporting the Salvation Army and other nonprofit organizations, there are many ways we contribute to our community. Servant leadership is an important value at our company, and community service is one of the ways we show it.
