DFWCGI worked with a confidential data center client to program, schematically design, and entitle a 35-acre site for a 40 MW data center, comprised of 5 data halls rated at 8MW apiece. Also included were environmental impact studies for water usage to ensure the facility would not detrimentally impact scarce resources dedicated to the local community. Further, the project included detailed coordination with the local power utility provider to ensure the grid infrastructure was appropriately configured to support the data center buildout, and to ensure that the pull-purchasing of long-lead equipment was in alignment with the Utilities’ requirements.

DFWCGI is now actively ramping up the detailed design of the facility and will support the Owner with construction administration services as the project moves to construction.
