KETV-7 at Burlington Station
KETV at Burlington Train Station in Omaha, Nebraska was a unique project that entailed transforming a train station built in 1898 into a truly state-of-the-art television station. KETV had outgrown its previous location and went searching for a new facility. The train station met their mission critical systems space requirement, parking, and location requirements though it would require a large overhaul. Integration of modern technology, electrical, heating and cooling systems in a manner that had minimal impact on the original architecture. New systems were designed to save energy and minimize wall penetrations while retaining views of historic elements. Our scope of work included exterior lighting, modeling of the site and building facade. Lighting for the interior atrium using indirect LED flood lights.
