Cotton Bowl Renovations - Phase I

The historic Cotton Bowl is undergoing a multi-phase revitalization project to breathe new life into the facility while preserving its historic facade. The renovations were necessary to enhance the guest experience and keep up with fan expectations. The project is part of a broader effort to rejuvenate the entire Fair Park area and attract new events at the venues in the future. The effort will be achieved in two phases to allow for uninterrupted usage during the annual State Fair of Texas and upon completion a few improvements guests will enjoy include widened concourses, new entries, new and updated amenities, outdoor terraces, improved concessions, updated restrooms, and the addition of premium seating and suite options.

DFWCGI is proud to be partnering with Overland Partners and Henderson Engineers to support this significant effort by undertaking the Electrical Engineering design services for the project. This includes a new electrical service for the expanded stadium footprint, replacement of existing electrical infrastructure and stand-by generator, and new power and lighting for expanded concourses, concessions, restrooms, and press box areas. We can’t wait for you to see the end result of these exciting upgrades to the historic Cotton Bowl stadium.
